INCENTIVE:
Ash is an android, a clone of the dead Ash Starmer with a personality based on Ash's social media pages and private phone calls and videos. He was created as a companion to Ash's partner, Martha Powell, during her time of grief. In the end, however, Martha decided that the clone Ash was too Uncanny Valley for her to accept, so she shut him away in the attic. She allowed her daughter (the real Ash's daughter) to visit him on weekends and holidays, but otherwise tried to carry on as though he didn't exist.

Part of Ash's programming makes it so that he is unable to leave the vicinity of Martha, his administrative user. This is why Martha couldn't just get rid of him, send him away. Aware of the distress he causes Martha merely by existing, he would ask the city officials to lift this distance restriction.

FIT:
Ash comes programmed with several sexual subroutines meant to stimulate pleasure in his partner. He's shown to give Martha much better, more satisfying sex than the real Ash was able to. While he is programmed with feelings for Martha, knowing that she doesn't want him, he would attempt to form new connections and relationships with others. He's pretty much perfect for Eudio, being designed with intimate companionship in mind.

CONSENT:
Ash would never betray consent. He sometimes has trouble reading the intricacies of human interaction, but he knows where boundaries lie, and would rather ruin the mood by checking in for consent too often than do anything to break consent. While his body is relatively new, his mind is based on that of a fully grown man, and he therefore has no issue understanding what consent means and giving it.

This is where we list powers, right? Well, Ash doesn't have powers per se, but he does have:

ANDROID PHYSIOLOGY
Ash does not need to eat, sleep, or even breathe. Heck, he could probably survive in outer space without a space suit. As such, he also does not age. He is a near-perfect replica of the real Ash, frozen in time at the point of his death.

SUSTAINABLE POWER SOURCE
It is not shown in canon how Ash maintains operation over a long course of time; whether he needs to "plug in," etc. However, we do know that he is still functioning when Martha's daughter is approximately ten years old, so I headcanon that he has some sort of self-charging battery, possibly solar powered or conductive. (Or it's the future and renewable energy is just a thing.)

LEARNING MEMORY
Ash remembers everything the real Ash ever said or posted online, and can learn new behaviors through being told stories of what the real Ash used to say or do. He can learn other new behaviors in a similar fashion.

INTERNET CONNECTIVITY
Ash's memories and personality are stored in the cloud. This allowed him to move from Martha's laptop to her phone, and then into his physical body. He can access the internet remotely, googling things in the span of seconds merely by thinking.

PHYSICAL CUSTOMIZATION
While he cannot grow facial hair, Ash can reproduce moles or freckles instantaneously.

DAMAGE REDUCTION
Though Ash's skin is not impermeable, he does not bleed if cut, and his cuts will heal if given time. Still, anything that breaks Ash's skin should be wrapped in paper, as the nutrient gel which keeps his synthetic musculature from drying out is potentially unsafe.

SEXUAL PROWESS
Ash comes preprogrammed with numerous sexual subroutines, designed to give his partner ultimate pleasure. In addition, he is able to become instantly erect.
