emily powell Daughter of the "Real" Ash Starmer and Martha Powell. Smart girl with a devious personality. Growing up, Emily was only allowed to visit Ash in the attic on weekends and birthdays. Thought of Ash as a friend more than a father. When Ash was deactivated and returned, Emily was distraught at first, but as the years passed she began to remember the clone who lived in her attic until she was eleven as a sort of mythical figure, stubbornly keeping him in her memory despite her mother's attempts to forget. When Emily was old enough, and independent of her mother, she sought out her old friend, either accessing his code on the cloud where it was stored and archived, or tracking down the body that had been bought and sold and traded and was now living another life. The reunion was a tearful one on both sides, Emily reconnecting with the friend she'd lost, and Ash seeing the girl he'd come to think of as his own daughter all grown up into a beautiful, intelligent young woman.
